Update (4:55 p.m. ET)

Thunderstorms are moving through the area ahead of kickoff. The Miami Gardens forecast calls for "heavy thunderstorms" and a 100 percent chance of rain at 7 p.m., NoleGameday's Dustin Lewis reported. If there's lightning near the stadium, kickoff could be delayed or play stopped under standard lightning safety rules. No delay had been announced as of 4:55 p.m.

FSU is wearing gold helmets, white jerseys and gold pants tonight, @FSUFootball announced.

Florida State (3-3, 1-2 ACC) kicks off at No. 3 Miami (5-0, 3-0) at 7 p.m. on ESPN, and it will probably be wet. Here's where things stand a few hours out.

Weather

The National Weather Service puts the chance of rain in Miami Gardens late this afternoon and evening at around 80 percent, with a half-inch to three-quarters of an inch possible, Warchant's Ira Schoffel reported. The Weather Channel's hourly forecast climbs from a 62 percent chance at 5 p.m. to 85 percent by kickoff and stays near 90 percent for the rest of the game, with thunderstorms possible, per Schoffel.

Who's in, who's out

Both teams are relatively healthy, according to Friday night's ACC availability reports, Warchant noted. Guard Paul Bowling and defensive end Darryll Desir are listed as probable. Defensive back Zae Thomas came off the list Friday. FSU's nine players out are unchanged, and Karson Hobbs, Izayia Williams and Daylen Green are out for the season. Our full availability report has both teams' lists. A final report is due about two hours before kickoff.

The line

Miami was a 21.5-point favorite earlier in the week, per Tomahawk Nation. As of Saturday afternoon the line was Miami -19.5 with an over/under of 56.5 at DraftKings, per ESPN.
