In his final media session before Miami, Mike Norvell praised Darian Mensah, addressed Chuck Kennon's dismissal and said he wants to see FSU respond to adversity.

Mike Norvell met reporters Wednesday for the last time before Florida State heads to No. 3 Miami. He said the Hurricanes "lead the country in both offensive and defensive scoring," per Tomahawk Nation.
The Mensah problem
Norvell said Miami quarterback Darian Mensah is "playing at an elite level" and gets the ball out so quickly that pressure is hard to generate, the Tallahassee Democrat reported. FSU ranks 122nd nationally in total defense at 410.2 yards allowed per game, the Democrat noted.
On Kennon
Asked about Chuck Kennon's dismissal, Norvell said, "He is no longer part of the program," adding that the cornerback did not meet the program's standard, Warchant reported. Background on the dismissal.
What he wants to see
"I want to see the confidence in the response," Norvell said, per the Democrat. On his offense: "We still have yet to see the 60-minute execution," he said.
