FSU's defense banged up at Miami: Chandler helped off, Chris Jones returns, Graham to locker room
Nehemiah Chandler was helped to the sideline holding his right leg, Chris Jones went off hobbling and came back, and Omar Graham Jr. went to the locker room. FSU has not announced a diagnosis for any of them.

FSU's defense lost players to injuries throughout the second half at No. 3 Miami. Defensive back Nehemiah Chandler was helped to the sideline holding his right leg, linebacker Chris Jones went to the sideline hobbling before returning, and linebacker Omar Graham Jr. went to the locker room, according to FSU reporters. FSU has not announced a diagnosis for any of them.
As of 9:52 PM ET Saturday: FSU 21, Miami 14, 13:37 - 4th Quarter. In progress.
Nehemiah Chandler, DB
ESPN's play-by-play lists Chandler as "injured on the play" on J. Mallory's 25-yard run at 8:55 of the third quarter. On Miami's next possession, Dustin Lewis of NoleGameday/On SI reported: "#FSU DB Nehemiah Chandler is down and holding his right leg. Might just be a cramp." A minute later Lewis posted that "Chandler is being assisted to the sideline."
Lewis's "cramp" comment was his read in the moment, not a diagnosis. As of this posting, no FSU source had reported Chandler returning, and ESPN's play-by-play does not show him making a tackle since.
Chris Jones, LB
Lewis reported that "#FSU LB Chris Jones comes up hobbling. He's fighting to stay in the game but an official just made him go to the sideline." About two minutes later, Lewis posted: "Chris Jones is back in for #FSU."
Jones has been in on big plays since. ESPN credits him with the tackle on M. Fletcher Jr.'s no-gain run on fourth-and-1 at the FSU 18 with 14:16 left in the game, which turned the ball over on downs.
Omar Graham Jr., LB
Graham went down making a tackle on a Miami third-down conversion early in the third quarter. Warchant reported that he was heading to the locker room (our story). As of this posting, no FSU source had reported that he returned, and FSU had not given an update.
Ousmane Kromah, RB
On offense, running back Ousmane Kromah was hurt on a 9-yard run to the Miami 2 late in the first half. The Tallahassee Democrat reported that he was "carted off in air cast" (our story). Noles247 and Warchant reported it was his left ankle. FSU has not announced a diagnosis.
FSU took a 21-14 lead late in the third quarter (our story) and led after three (our story). Follow along on our live blog.
Next up: The rest of the fourth quarter of FSU at No. 3 Miami, tonight on ESPN. We'll report any injury updates from Mike Norvell or FSU after the game.
